For the next 3 full days we explore one of Chile’s most epic ski resorts, Nevados de Chillan. Our evenings are spent celebrating in true Chilean hospitality with a variety of locally owned restaurants in one of the most authentic ski villages in Chile, Las Trancas.
This morning we journey south further into Chile’s Ring of Fire to the quaint village of Malacahuello. En route we stop at the extraordinary Chillan Market for lunch and a tour of the incredible farmer’s markets, one of the biggest in Chile. We will spend the next 4 evenings at our cozy lodge in the Malacahuello Valley
Located at the base of Volcan Lonquimay and amongst stands of ancient Dr Seuss like monkey-puzzle trees lays Corralco. Offering wide-open volcanic slopes and plenty of touring opportunities we spend 3 days enjoying this off the beaten track Chilean gem. Hot springs, home cooked meals, fine red wine and a warm fire finish our days
