This September CASA Tours heads to the End of the World to visit Tierra del Fuego and Ushuaia for a 7 day tour including 5 days of skiing and snowboarding at Cerro Castor, Glacier Martial and the surrounding mountains.This tour is based out of the port city of Ushuaia on the shores of the Beagle Channel. Depending on snow and weather conditions backcountry enthusiasts have the option to tour on Glacier Martial, which rises 1000 meters directly above town and looks out toward the passage to Antarctica. Cerro Castor ski center offers plenty of inbounds terrain to explore via lifts and often hosts international ski teams gearing up for the next season. Guests also have the option to visit Tierra del Fuego National Park or a take a catamaran and cruise the Beagle Channel.We invite you to join us for this ski and snowboard tour through the Land of Fire!

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival Day – Ushuaia

CASA guides greet guests at the Ushuaia airport and are transferred to our downtown hotel where we spend the afternoon wandering around the world’s southern most city and the gateway port to the Beagle Channel and Antarctica. Tonight we have a trip orientation and welcome dinner and get ready for our End of the World Adventure.

Day 2-6 – Ski/Ride Cerro Castor / Glacier Martial / Heli-Ski

For 5 days we ride lifts at Cerro Castor ski center, tour at Glacier Martial, or go for an optional heli adventure, sampling Tierra del Fuego’s finest powder destinations. From the open slopes at Cerro Castor; to the challenging climb and ski down toward the sea at Glacier Martial; or getting heli dropped in the vast mountains at the end of the world this tour is for all adventurous appetites. The historic port of Ushuaia makes an ideal base for the week with a variety of shops, museums, restaurants and bars.

Day 7 – Departure Day

After breakfast CASA guides will arrange transportation to the Ushuaia airport and your returning flights to Buenos Aires. Hasta Luego Amigos!!!!
